By studying Diploma of Sustainable Operations, students will learn how to identify sustainability issues within different industries and apply their knowledge to improve sustainability performance – social, economic and environmental of any business operation.

Course Overview
This qualification specifies the skills and knowledge required to measure current sustainability performance across an organisation and to establish processes for improved sustainability performance. It applies to job roles with a focus on sustainability and a managerial or technician level of responsibility, authority and autonomy who will liaise with senior management and other stakeholders to drive and influence change across an organisation.
Our Diploma of Sustainable Operations course specifies the skills and knowledge required to measure current sustainability performance across organisation and to establish processes for improved sustainability performance. This course guides students in the development of an ecologically sustainable perspective covering foundations of economic, social and environmental sustainability performance that will allow students to support the implementation of sustainable practices and policies in the workplace.

Course Entry Requirements
For International Students
- 18 years of age or over- This qualification has no formal entry requirement due to the wide variety of sustainability applications in industry. However, most enterprises will expect the learner to hold operational or technical skills and experience in a vocational field, and the qualification is not recommended for direct entry from school.
- Demonstrate both academic and English language requirements as follows:
- Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent with some work experience; or other relevant qualifications or experience
- Academic IELTS 5.5 overall, no less than 5.0 in each band, or upper intermediate, or EAP from approved ELICOS/ESL centre or equivalent.
- Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
- Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
