About The Training
The Certificate 3 Guarantee program provides eligible Queenslanders with an opportunity to complete their first post-school certificate III qualification subsidised by the Queensland Government. Individuals are required to pay a reduced co-contribution fee to gain access to the government subsidy.
Subsidised Training Under the Certificate 3 Guarantee
Concession card holders pay as little as $20 and non-concessional students pay just $50. The remainder of the course fees are subsidised under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program. It is important that you take the time to consider and compare your training options and costs as a completed Certificate III course will use your Certificate 3 Guarantee subsidy entitlement.
Eligibility Criteria
ou may be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee funding if you meet all the following requirements:
✓ You are 15 years of age or older.
✓ Have finished or left secondary school.
✓ Are a Queensland Resident
✓ Are an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen.
✓ Not hold, and not be enrolled in, a certificate III or higher-level qualification*, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
*Qualifications completed prior to 1995 do not affect eligibility.
