How to connect to the online classes (Microsoft Teams)

Facing the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we are opening our minds and changing our way of delivering our courses! To be prepared, please connect to our online delivery platform - Microsoft Teams. If you don't know how to do it, please follow the instructions below: 

Step-by-step Tutorial: how to connect to Microsoft Teams

Teams is a Microsoft 365 application that works as a hub, a helpdesk through which you will be able to:
• contact your trainers for additional support via private messages
• reach out to other students more easily when completing group work
• receive general communications and information in the Teams feed
• request one-on-one support sessions online via teleconference

If you didn't connect to Teams yet, please do it now. It will only take a few minutes.

Connect to Teams!

1. Go to www.office.com
2. Click “Sign in”
3. Username: Enter your Envirotech email (do not use your personal email)
   Your Envirotech student email address is: <YourStudentID>@student.envirotech.edu.au
   e.g. 201900123@student.envirotech.edu.au
4. Password: Changeme123
5. Now re-type the old password Changeme123 , and choose your new password
   (your new password should have capital letters, small letters and numbers)
6. Click the “Teams” icon to connect to Teams online (that’s it – you’re in!)
7. After you connect to Teams on your browser:
   1. Install the Teams application on your computer from https://teams.microsoft.com/download
      
   2. Install the Teams application on your mobile phone (so that you will not miss important updates)
