Enhance your marketing and sales employment prospects in a wide range of industries with the Diploma of Marketing.
This marketing course is ideal for those who wish to work in entry-level marketing roles or, with appropriate work experience, management roles.
The Diploma of Marketing provides students with sound theory and knowledge of marketing to enable them to progress their career prospects in sales and marketing management.
This course builds on the marketing concepts ensuring that marketing functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area.
Graduates of the Diploma of Marketing qualification would typically have responsibility for the work of other staff, as well as leading teams in conducting marketing campaigns.
This program is an intensive full-time course completed over a period of up to 18 academic weeks,3-6 vacation weeks, depends on your intake date.
Each academic week comprises of 20 hours of study.
Each academic week comprise of two face to face full days and five hours home project.
Students must demonstrate sufficient previous educational or vocational experience in order to complete the course in the above duration. Students who do not have previous experience, will have to undertake the Certificate IV in Small Business Management or equivalent course prior to commencing the Diploma of Marketing course program. Sufficient previous experience is defined as approximately 6 months duration in relevant studies or employment
This course includes a formal registered work placement component of 16 hours per week during 29 weeks.
After the course commencement student visa permits international students to work under the course registered approved work placement up to 36 hours per week as follows:
When course is not in session
When course is in session
20 hours per week any work (maximum of 40 hours per fortnight)
16 hours per week formal approved work placement (during the 29 approved weeks).
The Work placement is made by Envirotech under a specially drafted Placement Agreement. There will be a placement officer representing Envirotech.
The special terms of the Placement agreement are accepted by the employer “host”.
Under that agreement Envirotech will prescribe special tasks /experiences that must be met during the approved work placement.
Parties acknowledge that the “host” has no obligation to pay for the work placement hours.

Envirotech Institute of Education reserves the right to amend course structure and subject content to meet changing industry demands.
Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

Graduates of this program are eligible to continue their studies with a bachelor degree, receiving credit for up to 30% of relevant courses at Universities with which Envirotech has an entrance pathway agreement.
English language requirements:
Students must be competent and have sound literacy and numeracy skills in order to fulfil course requirements.

The minimum English level required is that equivalent to 5.5 IELTS.
Envirotech has an internal English placement test which assess the students LLN abilities and skills prior to commencing the course.
Your Own Laptop
All students must have and bring with them to class their own laptop computer.
Envirotech has a business relationship and arrangement with Clive Anthony shop enabling Envirotech students to purchase computer hardware and software at low prices.
Overseas Students Health Cover
International students are required by immigration law to hold a mandatory OSHC by approved provider for the entire duration of their student visa. Envirotech takes responsibility to arrange students’ health cover through the service of Medibank Private. Additional information and rates are available on their website at www.medibank.com.au.
At Envirotech our flexible delivery modes are designed to optimise your precious time.
- Classroom – Classes are set with calendar over 15 hours contact per week and 5 hours flexible delivery. International students MUST enrol in a face to face class delivery mode.The two face to face days consist of one delivery and one assessment day. the students may choose to complete the 5 hours flexible component either from campus or outside the campus.
- Workplace or School – Trainer delivers on site with client
- Blended Learning – Periodic Workshops and Distance Learning
- Online– available through Envirotech’s online system
- RPL – Recognised Prior Learning
Credit Transfer and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)
Credit may be given either through recognition of previous relevant study or through application of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you have valid experience in the proposed qualification and you wish for it to be recognised or credited, please discuss this prior to or during enrolment, as any recognition will affect your course duration.
